So God made Energy

When I see a pipeline crew, I see the cafe owner on Main Street who will welcome them with a smile at lunch.

When I see a workover rig, I see the grandparents who signed the original oil lease back in 1979.

When I see a wind turbine, I see the grandkids who can maintain grandpa's quarter another generation.

When I see an oil well, I see the truck salesman who made his commission goal for the month.

When I see solar panels, I see a new school bond passing for the first time in 50 years.

When I see a frac crew, I see the proud dad paying for his daughter's college.

When I see Energy, I see Oklahoma.

When God made Oklahoma, He made people who were tough enough to endure the unpredictable weather and diverse terrains. He made people who would find passion in feeding the world despite the ongoing strains. And then, He made sure to give her the energy resources to keep her thriving for generations to come.

We are an Energy state. We feed and fuel the world with our waving wheat, spinning blades, and pumping jacks. Without the surplus of energy, the weight of commodity prices and prolonged droughts burden our farmers and ranchers to a breaking point. Supporting our energy sectors is supporting our agricultural communities.

Energy fuels agriculture so that agricultural can fuel the world.
